FAQ

CAN YOU AUDITION FOR ALL THREE DANCE LEVELS?

Yes! Everyone who auditions will be placed in one of our three dance levels.

HOW MANY DANCERS ARE ACCEPTED ONTO COMPETITIVE DANCE?

We do not have a set limit to our team roster!

I DON'T HAVE EXPERIENCE IN JAZZ/HIP HOP. DO I HAVE TO LEARN BOTH COMBOS TO AUDTION?

Yes, dancers must perform the Jazz and the Hip Hop combo to audition. Jazz is optional for All-Male dancers only.
Please do not stress about a style you may not know. The coaches consider numerous factors at auditions, including work ethic, attitude, and determination. Try your best and have fun with it!

WHAT IS THE TIME COMMITMENT FOR EACH DANCE LEVEL? I HAVE OTHER COMMITMENTS, AP CLASSES, ETC.!

Please reference the Informational Packet for details on the time commitment for each dance level.
Participating in dance and other commitments is absolutely doable. Many CV dancers are also involved in other programs on and off campus, including jobs, church groups, tutoring, music groups, clubs, and AP classes!

HOW CAN I PREPARE FOR AUDITIONS?

Attend our Prep Clinic - Saturday, May 10th!
